My name is Leneka Pilarski, and I've always been horse crazy, but in the past few years I've discovered my love of draft horses. I'm 23 and a mom of two beautiful girls and a wife to an amazingly patient man.

We currently live out in the boonies in Southern Missouri, although I have lived all over the east coast and spent the majority of my childhood in North Carolina (where I met my husband). Growing up, I lived in suburibia and my family was poor. So I didn't actually get much time around horses growing up except for a year's worth of lessons at 8 and trail rides once in a while on Camp Lejeune years later until they shut down their trail riding program.

 

This blog will just be about a short history of my horse obession, and a chronicle of my experience with horses, namely drafts, since my first purchase of one last year. On here I'll talk about my experiences, lessons, and blunders. Come and join the journey with me!
